Hi! Happy that you're here.
I am a young composer, conductor and saxophone player born and living in Luzern. By writing music, I try to grasp - even if only in the tiniest and ephemeral details - the indescribable magic that we live in. Music is always a prayer, a game, an attempt to experience one's human being.
Currently I am studying composition with Nadir Vassena and Dieter Amman at the Hochschule Luzern HSLU as well as wind ensemble conducting with Hervé Grélat (HSLU) and Stéphane Delley (Conservatoire de Fribourg). My former studies have been greatly influenced by the tutoring of Jean-Claude Kolly as well as countless other teachers.
I found myself in the incredibly privileged situation where I am able to write more or less whatever I like without having to subdue myself to the wishes and demands of editors and the market. If you want to support me on the journey of finding and developing my musical language, the best thing you can do is to play my music with your ensemble. Furthermore, I am always open for commissions for any ensemble and scoring.
Incredibly grateful towards all the people that make this adventure possible - especially my wonderful partner Javi.
